Playing Catch-up

So much has happened since my last post. Ummm, just about a WHOLE year....between the my moms of multiples board, facebook, and real life...I never have time to update the blog and not really sure if anyone reads it anyway. If you do, please feel free to leave a comment...Amy that means you b/c I think you're the only one.

Really it's the mobility factor more than anything that leaves me no for the things I would like to do. As soon as these kiddos started crawling around 7 months and walking around 11 months our world completely changed. Life with two walking twins and a 4 year old is definitely challenging. I knew this was coming and appreciated every minute of their stationary, sleep-filled, bottle-drinking newborn days. Now, they're all going different directions and are into everything. If I'm not scraping food off the tile, I'm picking up things they throw over the balcony, pulled out of the cabinets, dumped out of the laundry basket, or picked out of the trash. They all have blossoming personalities and opinions and moods!

I love seeing the little people they are becoming. Brooke- mommy's little helper, miss independent who is so smart and strong willed and sassy. She amazes me everyday with the things she knows and is learning in school. She's writing her name, knows all of her letters and letter sounds can spell, knows many of the states and facts about them. and is actually spelling and reading some words. She has such a good heart and wants to make sure everyone is taken care of and is always in the know.

Jared, my quiet, laid back little guy who waits until he is sure he can do something before he even attempts it rather than trying and making mistakes. He went from taking one step for 2 months to fully walking. He loves to know what everything is and has been saying "what's that" long before "mama". He is so much like his daddy- not a care in the world, likes to just hang out and watch what's going on. He's loves animals, balls, and anything he can throw or bang. He's also my flirt and loves to flash his smile and baby blues, engaging anyone who is willing to pay attention.

Jenna is my snuggle bug. She always wants to hug and kiss and is filled with so much love for her family especially "booke"(Brooke) and "rarry" (Jared). She is talking so much now and it's so cute hearing her say full sentences. She truly loves life and is always laughing and smiling. She is such a girly girl and is already into hair clips, purses, princess crowns, shoes, cell phones and baby dolls.

So far, at 18months it is my favorite age because of all the cute things they are doing but it has also been the most challenging.
